on tuesday, derek met ethan over at the house and the cabinet guy and the granite guy were also there at the same time talking to ethan.
derek happened to take the measuring tape and noticed that the cabinet that's to hold the ovens were measured out for a 27" oven, not the 30" oven like we had specified and ordered. thank goodness he noticed! ethan had made a major oversight. so after much figuring out, they are moving the fridge over 1.5" inches closer to the sliding glass door (it was 3" away) to make room for it.
apparently they are going to pour concrete friday for the outside (patio and walkway) and are working on the landscaping. next tuesday, the granite counters should be ready to go as well as the rest of teh cabinets (i think). derek mentioned the carpets needing to be picked, but i'm not sure when.
today, i also noticed that some of the light switches and outlets were in already. some, not all.
