Day #107

Ok. So no pics yet. I do have them, I just have been busy grading papers tonight.
Derek is supposed to meet EZ on Monday. Apparently he's been gone due to him getting married and being on a honeymoon. So I guess he kind of has a good excuse. But I don't think this was all just out of the blue. He could have and should have planned it out so that things wouldn't stall while he was gone. I told Derek he should try to get some $ knocked off, timeline moved up, or get upgrades on things. Or all of the above!
Something, though.
They were installing the windows when I peeked this afternoon. So I'll try to post those later or tomorrow morning, if I have time.

Day #106, Part II

in the master bathroom...guess that's where the big tub goesthey finally 'fixed' the closet in the family room. but derek says it's not quite right still.

Day #106

derek and matthew stopped by in the early evening (en route to fresh n easy for some pizza dough) and they took some pictures...but i forgot to put the memory card in. duh!
they noticed that there were 2 new sets of sliding glass doors in this pile of windows below:
plus the 'new' pictures' above for what he noticed that i couldn't when i stopped by earlier in the afternoon.

so the windows are there, apparently. but noone was touching them...some guys doing something upstairs. the ductwork still looked the same, though.

Day #103

mom and i stopped by this morning to see what had been done.
look what's happened to our bedroom! =O
two corners of the room now have those ducts in them, and they built stuff around it like there's going to be a wall around it. i don't like it...


i guess they've been working on some electrical stuff, too.

but what the heck is that hole in the wall of the office???

Day #101

matthew took these pictures today because i had to carry the baby.look! the old water heater was actually gone...

Day #99

Well, yesterday I stopped by after my drs appointment, and noticed nothing different. I even walked through the house to see if I could tell that they finished the duct work (or at least fixed it). But alas, no.
Derek hasn't been able to get a hold of them either the last several days...that's not good. Not sure what's happening. We're really sad about the lack of developments. =(

Day #95

okay. so they didn't do anything new today. noone was there. i wonder why.
but here's what they finished up yesterday, i guess.
now i have a question. take a look at the duct in the firsts picture below. it's maybe 8+ inches in diameter. they cut a hole in the floor to fit it through from the first floor. exactly how thick are the walls going to be in relation to the wood that i can see right now? because i can't imagine that duct stuff collapsing enough to fit a wall over it...or am i just dumb?? there are these ducts in one of the master closets, in the closet in the hallway (right outside the family room) and in the little towel closet in the boys' bathroom (which the duct takes up practically half of the whole thing). again, i'm confused.
